This experienced project management position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership with industry-wide impact. Responsible for guiding the successful implementation of an integrated business solution ensuring high quality and timely delivery within budget to the customers satisfaction. Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracles solution meets the customers objectives by combining industry best practices and product knowledge. Effectively applies Oracles methodologies and policies while adhering to contractual obligations, minimizing Oracles risk and exposure. As a position of professional influence, this individual frequently operates at the leading edge of technology.

Assists in approach / proposal development, manages transition from sales to the delivery team, establishes project management infrastructure, kicks off project, and manages the project to a successful outcome.

Demonstrated success in delivering on-time / on-budget ERP solutions to clients with complex requirements.
SaaS ERP/Financials project management experience desired.

Candidates should possess at least 8+ years of experience relevant to this position.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to successfully lead complex projects while working effectively with client management, client business users, and IT organizations. This role will, further, require strong influencing and negotiation skills.

All candidates must be able to travel as needed in the US and Canada Candidates can live anywhere in the US, but must be able and willing to travel as needed.

This manager-level position is responsible for a segment within a given project portfolio which can be defined by industry, service line, technology center, specialty area or region. Main responsibilities include people management, project oversight, and sales enablement. Accountable for operational/financial metrics and maintaining project/portfolio profitability while ensuring quality of project delivery and maintaining customer referenceability.

Responsible for adherence to operational policies and achievement of portfolio performance to support business plan. Responsible for solution and pricing of proposals and supporting the sales process. Is accountable for managing a profitable revenue stream. Typically manages a relatively small number of individual contributing project managers. Provides oversight to projects within portfolio to ensure high customer satisfaction in a profitable manner.

8+ years of experience relevant to this position, including 2 years of project or direct line management experience. Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles and successfully manage projects of increasing complexity. Comfortable working in a matrix management environment. Strong influencing and negotiation skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus. Selling skills preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Ability to travel as needed.
