The Subcontracts Group of the Purchasing Department is responsible for the solicitation, negotiation, award, documentation, administration, and closeout of subcontracts. The team assists Project Managers in all phases of the subcontract.

Objectives of this Role:
- Solicit, award and administer Subcontracts and Subawards to support Institute clients.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Solicit, negotiate, award and administer subcontracts to support contracts with Institute clients
- Solicit proposals, conduct cost/price analysis, negotiate and finalize subcontracts and other agreements (subgrants, CRADA's, etc.)
- Administer subcontracts to include closeout duties
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelors with a 3.00 GPA in Business or related. Master's Degree a plus.
- 0-5 years: Contracts or Subcontracts negotiation, award and administration.
- Experience with government requirements, primarily FAR and 2 CFR 200 (or OMB Circular A-133) is beneficial
- Experience with personal computers
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word experience
- Knowledge of general business practices and procedures
- A valid/clear driver's license is required
