Our Corporate Technology team relies on smart, driven people like you to develop applications and provide tech support for all our corporate functions across our network. Your efforts will touch lives all over the financial spectrum and across all our divisions: Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and within the Corporate Administrative Office. You'll be part of a team specifically built to meet and exceed our evolving technology needs, as well as our technology controls agenda.
Some of the responsibilities for a candidate in this role would be as below:
Provide solutions for DevOps practices for CI/CD pipeline, as well as IT operations practices. Establish best practices for the firm to manage and execute software release builds, as well as deployments for mobile applications and database updates on different platforms. Identify and develop opportunities to improve firm processes and tools for automation. Review business requirements, process documentation, workflows, and collateral to identify gaps and differences impacting policies and procedures. Design and implement solutions to these gaps in partnership with project, subject matter expert partners, and DevOps team. Work with other members of scrum team to create solutions to improve business efficiency.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
* Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
* Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
* Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
* Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
* Passionate about building an innovative culture
* Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages
* Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
* This position requires One (1) or more years of experience with the following skills: implementation of Microservices and APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) with Java and J2EE; Core Spring Framework and Spring Security or Spring Integration; JavaScript and JavaScript APIs such as ReactiveJS, JQuery, or Angular; Oracle and RDBMS database concepts; using public and private cloud such as AWS, Azure, or Cloud foundry; and Java-based tool WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
* Familiarity and experience working with JPMC internal software development frameworks, platforms and tools like Photon, Moneta, GKP, LogA and Jules would be a big plus.
* Familiarity with Apache Spark and Scala programming would be a plus.
