We are looking for a Senior Manager Data Science, Cross Selling (f/m/d) to help us deliver an amazing customer experience in more than 45 countries. You're a Data Science leader who can lead a multidisciplinary team of Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers and Data Engineers to build scalable solutions.

Your mission:

• Build a strong multidisciplinary team of Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers and Data Engineers

• Better understand customer demands and use data to drive improvements

• Work cross-functionally with engineering, data science and product to develop best practices and execute against a multi-year roadmap

• Develop new data products from conception to operationalization.

• Act as a bridge to our Engineering team, collaborating with other software engineers to design and build analytics pipelines based on analyses you’ve found consistently effective.

• Scope and build new features based on the results of your analyses

• Scale up your algorithms to provide business value in dozens of countries globally helping millions of users

• Help defining data needs to further improve existing projects, to support data engineering and tech teams in planning their roadmap

• Contribute and make an impact in a global, fast-moving tech organization
  

Heroic Skills:

• You have experience leading data science teams.

• You can create processes and collaborate with teams to make sure the team enters a virtuous cycle of improvements

• You have experience applying methods from machine learning and statistics to real-world datasets

• Interest in Cross Selling.

• Experience with both classical and deep-learning based ML approaches

• Great communication skills and ability to influence beyond the team
  

Nice to have:

• Passion about data and a problem solver

• Experience with both supervised and unsupervised learning models

• Data Driven with care for data cleaning, processing and visualisation
