The successful candidate will be responsible for providing solution design, creation, implementation and maintenance of software control systems. You will deliver user-centered, neat, effortless, responsive, and intuitive interfaces with optimized code ensuring development standards are met and management processes are followed. This role is based in the Edmonton, Alberta area but is available for remote work / work from home permissions for Candidates located in Canada.

Job Requirements

MUST HAVES:

-5+ years’ extensive skills in a development role along with solid experience programming using C#, C++ and WPF.

-Demonstrable experience in Agile Scrum software methodology

-Proven success in designing scalable solutions

-Working experience with Real Time Operating Systems and low level protocols

-Knowledge of Security architecture, vulnerability and security assessments and working ability of SCP, SFTP, FTP, SSL and other security interfaces

-Excellent interpersonal skills to quickly understand and accurately interpret meaning, purpose and importance. Strong Client Service skills allowing you to successfully influence strategies, collaboration, and partnerships.

-Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.

-Post-secondary degree or diploma in IT or related field

NICE TO HAVE:

-Knowledge of electrical sensors and hardware and/or the ability to quickly learn about them
