Product Manager

On behalf of our client in the Financial Services Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Product Manager.

Product Manager – Job Description

  • Mapping current and future global process flows, implement process improvements, and propose opportunities for automation
  • An example would be the end-to-end equity deal lifecycle from origination down to booking and the settling of the trades
  • Partner with regional business desks, legal, business unit managers, and compliance to improve cross functional workflows, feeds and reporting
  • Help coordinate the design (UX) of our applications and facilitate rapid feedback and testing sessions for business stakeholders
  • Partner with various business lines to prioritize technology efforts, manage tactical projects and implement process improvements
  • Provide user training, solicit feedback and drive systems adoption
  • Working with development teams to review product roadmap and requirements
  • Coordinate the collection, description, analysis and prioritization of requests for new product functionality
  • Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintain technical analysis of competitive strengths and weakness
  • Lead the development and maintenance of various technical marketing collateral including applications notes, product/release notes, user guides, presentations, and marketing content

Product Manager – Mandatory Skill

  • 5-10 years of experience in corporate lending area working on loan origination platforms on bilateral and syndicated loans
  • 5+ years of experience in Loan IQ integration with domain expertise on loan servicing
  • Strong background on credit underwriting, lending products and overall facility management
  • Strong domain knowledge on loan syndication, deal execution and allocations with good business understanding from banking and capital markets side
  • 5-10 years of product management experience and a good understanding of technical architecture
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment under tight deadlines with changing priorities
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multi-task under tight deadlines
  • Must have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated and inquisitive with an interest in Capital Markets
  • Ability to drive strategy and use both data and judgement to make critical decisions on behalf of technology and the business

Product Manager – Nice to Have Skills

  • Any additional experience on loan product processors will be a plus
