We are looking for a (Senior) Android Engineer (f/m/d) to join our FinTech - Payments team and build worldwide innovative Wallet and Payment solutions with us.

We are building a state of the art payments framework to leverage backend-driven UI and what you see is what you get configuration tools. This includes solving the challenge of dynamically building a native presentation layer agnostic to the business and product use-case, and dependent on the skeleton defined by the backend. You will also work very closely with web front-end engineers to deliver the configuration tools for these layers.

Your mission:

• Join the FinTech tribe and build worldwide innovative Wallet, Payment and Anti-Fraud solutions with strong focus on quality and scalability.

• Design and implement cutting-edge solutions that will be used by millions of people every day.

• Collaborate with Delivery Hero platform teams from Europe, Latin America, and Asia and help them build their best-in-class payment solutions using the SDKs we provide.

• Manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables within autonomous teams.

• Take part in architectural decision making.

• Be an active partner for Product management in order to provide the best value for stakeholders and our customers.

• Do lots of experimentation and exploration to continuously refine the solutions we provide.

Your heroic skills:

• 4 years of hands-on experience in building Android applications.

• Excellent knowledge in Kotlin and Android SDK.

• Experience in testing frameworks and writing code that is easily testable.

• Good know-how in object-oriented software design and design patterns.

• Experience with SQL, JSON and versioning tools (preferably Git) and have practical knowledge of REST-APIs

• Experience with modern design patterns and hands-on experience in Reactive frameworks.

• Building complex user interfaces and animations.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in the FinTech, Banking or Payment industry is a plus.

• Experience with iOS, cross-platform tools, Flutter, Kotlin, Kotlin Native, and React development is an added advantage.

• Experience working with Design Systems (particularly at scale) and building reusable components

• Diligence in automated testing & snapshot testing.

• Experience working with A/B testing tools.
