Business/Software Process Engineer

In the Process Engineer position, you’ll be responsible for executing and leading process improvement and automation/RPA across multiple lines of business at Direct Supply. This role will drive the evaluation, design, and implementation of best practice business processes to improve service and business efficiency. You'll leverage your fluency in process engineering and participate in identifying and developing solutions.

What You’ll Do and Impact:

  • Deliver process improvement strategies and solutions that measurably improve our performance and productivity, while delivering an outrageous customer experience.

  • Engage with stakeholders across the business to build commitment to process improvement efforts and identify improvement opportunities by conducting Kaizen events, workshops, value stream mapping sessions, and general brainstorming sessions.

  • Assist in maintaining a roadmap for process engineering and automation based on analysis of effort required, risk, and return on investment.

  • Participate and lead projects including requirements gathering, developing and maintaining timelines and delivering solutions.

  • Lead process improvement projects from inception to implementation, delivering measurable business results through effective process development as well as integrated project and change management.

  • Provide regular updates of the progress and status of projects to leadership and stakeholders.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and change agent to define, implement and monitor process improvement initiatives across Direct Supply.

  • Act as coach and mentor to improve business expertise in process improvement/ Lean methodologies.

  • Keep abreast of new methodologies and process improvement tools, which would improve productivity of Direct Supply Partners and processes.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or other related discipline

  • 5+ years of related work experience that includes process analysis and redesign efforts utilizing lean methodology, preferably in a distribution, service or non-manufacturing application

  • Demonstrated ability to assist with planning and facilitating focused Value Stream Maps, Kaizens, Workshops and Brainstorms

  • Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement certification

  • Experience on driving adoption (organizational change management) and influence without authority

  • Experience being a process owner

  • Experience presenting ideas and proposals in business focused, user-friendly format to executives and stakeholders

  • Ability and willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

  • Knowledge and experience with RPA platforms such as Kryon
