Classification: Credit Analyst
Compensation: $23.75 to $27.50 hourly
A large distribution client is looking for a Credit Analyst for approximately 4 months. Working for this client your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Creating and maintaining credit history files
Analyse and assess the creditworthiness of an account/client using external credit risk management tools/reports
Research account disputes and billing discrepancies
Respond to credit inquiries from internal and external clients
Identify delinquent accounts requiring external collection efforts
Identify bad debt or financial Exposure
Call on customers to establish what they need to pay any outstanding invoices.
As a Credit Analyst you must have
A minimum of 2 years recent work experience in similar area
Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills
An associate or bachelor's degree in accounting.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
