On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Bilingual Product Owner, International Corporate & Commercial Banking.

Bilingual Product Owner, International Corporate & Commercial Banking – Job Description

  • The Product Owner is responsible for continuous and early delivery of business value
  • Monitor and report on the status of the sprints
  • Write, review, update, prioritize User Stories
  • Ensure user stories have proper user acceptance criteria and are ready for development
  • Define workflows + support UI design with UX team
  • Support and liaises with SMEs, understanding current processes and aligning to TOM; obtain SMEs concurrence
  • Accept sprint deliverables, ensure they are complete and acceptable
  • Identify roadblocks and risks, resolves/escalate as required
  • Support design, development, testing, readiness and implementation activities
  • Monitor results post-implementation
  • The Product Owner (PO) will be expected to represent the voice of the customer and prioritize the backlog

Bilingual Product Owner, International Corporate & Commercial Banking – Mandatory Skills

  • Spanish & English language skills (oral and written) – expert level fluency required
  • 2-4 years of experience working in a similar Product Owner role
  • 2+ years of experience in banking
  • CSPO – certified scrum product owner required
  • The candidate must have flawless communication skills as they will be working directly with Director level individuals and up at the bank in Canada and Mexico while leading scrum teams
  • Self-starter that actively engages issues seeking resolution, ability to meet dynamic changes on prioritization
  • Ability to manage assigned tasks and expectations without direct instruction or oversight
  • Fast, adaptable learner who can hit the ground running
  • Ability to work well under pressure while demonstrating strong professionalism
  • Excellent communications skills to coordinate with high-ranking individuals internally (Director, VP level and up)
  • Strong investigation, prioritization, and organization skills
  • Candidate must have an open mind when it comes to approach, and be able to assess each situation separately
  • Must be able to collaborate closely with a team at times, while also being capable of holding themselves accountable to meet individual deadlines without hand holding
  • CSPO – certified scrum product owner required
  • CSM - Certified scrum master
  • Degree in business, computer science or related discipline

Bilingual Product Owner, International Corporate & Commercial Banking – Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience in Jira / Confluence
  • Experience working with agile management tools in a product owner capacity
