Corporate- Firmwide Business Resiliency Application Testing and QA- Associate

The Firmwide Business Resiliency ("FBR") team is responsible for the design of the firm's Resiliency Program, including the requirements for Resiliency Planning, Testing, Reporting and Issue Management. When disruptions occur, these practices support the continued operation of the firm's businesses, the markets, and our ability to service of our customers' needs. The FBR group collaborates closely with the firm's senior leadership, the Functional Resiliency teams, Risk Management and Audit to ensure that the resiliency program is commensurate with the risk-taking activities of the firm. The team is also responsible for providing corporate governance, awareness and training. The team also ensures that the firm remains in compliance with global laws and regulations as they relate to resiliency risk.

FBR is seeking an application testing and quality assurance associate to support the ongoing development of the firm's Business Resiliency application. In this role, you will support application testing and quality assurance with a focus on automation

Key Responsibilities include:

Functional Test Strategy and Planning
* Develop a strong understanding of the business processes and procedures. Develop test plans that align with business procedures and system workflows
* Facilitate creation of automated regression scripts.
* Profile, wrangle, and prepare data from diverse sources to support of testing efforts
* Be a champion for continuous improvement
* Actively engage with the Product Management team to understanding the product development details and assisting in the creation of development stories
* Partner with the training team for knowledge transition and validation of created training materials

Test Execution
* Develop detailed test plans, scripts, use cases, and related data
* Execute test scripts and document results
* Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure complete test strategies are executed within timelines
* Partner with development teams to ensure total coverage of all identified test cases
* Document testing results for regulatory review
* Complete post-testing analysis of defects to identify root causes

Stakeholder UAT Management
* Define end-user test scripts, results reporting, and bug management procedures
* Develop end-user testing participant guides
* Ensure end-user testers have appropriate user access and the training to successfully execute test

* Communicate and coordinate with the respective business areas in all aspects of UAT planning

Qualifications:
* Ability to develop and maintain key relationships with business and technology stakeholders
* Ability to quickly learn and assimilate business and technical knowledge
* Very strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
* Strong time management skills with the ability to support multiple tasks and deadlines
* Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff
* Experience with application testing and automated testing software
* 3+ years in an application testing/quality assurance management role
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in software testing and issues management
