Summary of the Position:

We are adding a Software Developer to our team who will work on full-stack development tasks, contributing features and enhancements to our web-based application that powers all aspects of our eCommerce and logistics platform. Tasks will regularly include all layers of full-stack development from working with relational databases to PHP logic code and HTML/CSS/Jquery user-interface components.

Software Developer Job Responsibilities:

• Build efficient, testable and reusable PHP modules
• Build standard web UI elements that satisfy the customers needs
• Gather and refine specifications based on business needs
• Fully understand the business objectives (i.e. use cases) and translate them into logical solutions in code
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent object and user interface methods
• Must be able to effectively communicate with other departments and function within a team environment
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
• Be able to understand business rules and write code that is well documented
