We are seeking a Writer to join our Creative Marketing team in Baltimore, MD or Wilmington, DE. This is an exciting opportunity for a multi-disciplined writer, with a focus on building and scaling industry-leading lending digital applications and experiences for our customers, consistent with our brand. Touching many parts of the customer journey, the ideal candidate will have experience in both UX and direct marketing.
A successful candidate will expand their competencies and grow their business and industry acumen, as well as demonstrate the ability to work on complex processes or projects across the end-to-end project cycle. In addition, this candidate will need to demonstrate an ability to partner with the leadership team and develop solutions that are executable and meaningful in practice.
Support the overall voice of the brand through meaningful user experiences and impactful copy
Leverage and contribute to brand and copy standards and formatting to represent OneMain effectively and maximize customer experience
Partner senior writers, creative directors, UX and marketing designers to ensure a cohesive and clearly understandable customer journey
Create and execute descriptive, concise and impactful copy for widely used digital products as well as the other communication touchpoints that surround those experiences
Collaborate closely with an agile product development team to ensure messaging is optimal for customer experience and addresses business objectives
Communicate effectively with product management, senior writers, UX lead, creative directors and other key stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years’ experience writing for digital products
Adept at connecting all phases of the user journey (marketing/direct and user web flows) to the work they are assigned, including email marketing
Knowledge of best practices in UX Writing and specific to digital content
Experience with A/B testing, SEO best practices and writing for conversions in ecommerce or for B2C products is highly preferred
