We are looking for a (Senior / Mid- Level) Software Engineer (Java / Python) (f/m/d ) to join our Global Salesforce Team. As Delivery Hero grows, addressing the needs of our salesforce platform internal and external users quickly and with as little friction as possible is crucial to our ability to create an amazing experience. Our task is to understand the strategic business needs and to translate these into applications to support Salesforce platform needs. Your Mission

• Contributing to designing and building applications that will transform the ordering experience of our global customer base as well as the lives of thousands of agents working in contact centers around the world.

• Taking part in improving and scaling a microservice architecture using API/event-based communication.

• Practicing modern software development methodologies such as Continuous Delivery, Scrum.

• Be an active partner for product management & designers in order to provide the best value for our stakeholders and customers.

• Collaborating with cross-functional and international agile teams

• Working in a fast-paced and multicultural environment

Your heroic skills

• 3+ years of experience in backend engineering and preferable distributed systems

• Hands on experience working with at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Node.js, Python

• Hands on experience with DB technologies(SQL/NoSQL) and Cloud Platforms(AWS/GCP)

• Experience with unit/integration/e2e testing.

• Being comfortable and productive in an intensive code review and close collaboration workflow.

• Never hesitates to take proactive initiatives to improve the code base, product and contribute to the development workflow.

• Having hands-on experience with CI/CD processes; such as building/bundling and deployment of code with technologies like Docker, Github Actions/Travis/CircleCI etc.

Nice To Have

• Experience with Error Reporting, Monitoring tools like Sentry, Datadog or New Relic.

• DevOps skills, kubernetes and related technologies

• Experience with other programming languages such as Golang and PHP
