Java Developer

Work in a fast-paced cross-functional collaborative team environment, designing and building a Java-based booking platform for customer-facing eCommerce web sites in the travel and entertainment sector. The backend services of the Java-based booking platform are transitioning towards a micro-services architecture.

This is full-time on-site position based in Las Vegas, NV with some ability to work remotely.

Minimum 4 years professional experience with Java.
Experience with most of the following tools/technologies required:
Spring Boot, Maven, Git, GitLab CI, Hibernate, JMS, Apache Web Server, MS SQL Server, MongoDB
Professional experience with Micro Services, Containers and Container management and orchestration desired. Experience with OpenShift is a big plus.

Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS highly desirable.
Must enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
Experience working in an Agile development environment desirable.
Must have good oral and written communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
