The Asset Control Specialist plays a key role in managing the lifecyle of company equipment and technology assets in order to move, add, change and track critical assets in a compliant manner and provide detailed information to the company’s asset strategies.
Coordinate and deliver user requests for hardware, software, and services in compliance with company standards and policies.
Coordinate IT asset management systems (purchasing, invoices, and inventory control).
Track IT assets and expenses throughout the life-cycle of ownership; provide departmental reports and periodically conduct verification audits.
Communicate with vendors regarding orders, service requirements, pricing, availability, and delivery dates.
Validate financial data (e.g. lease rent, depreciation, service fees, and other IT expenses).
Maintain inventory for hardware, software, and components.
Perform all other duties as assigned by Management.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly
Strong work ethic and ability to self-manage
Customer service orientation and strong communication skills
Ability to work rotating three-day shifts (including Saturday’s on a rotating basis)
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and how to navigate inventory systems
High school diploma
Associate’s Degree or greater
Experience with database systems including Microsoft Access
