What you’ll be responsible for . . .
As our Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a suite of application and integration services that serve our 10,000+ students, their families and a staff of over 1,000. You will be working with a diverse range of SaaS and homebrewed applications that provide learning resources for students, collaboration and assessment services for educators, finance, business and HR resources to school administrators using a unified and logical single sign-on environment we call MySprings. You will be in charge of developing new product lines and features for our web applications as well as improving and maintaining the quality of the entire codebase. You will participate in the full product lifecycle: planning, conception, development, testing, customer feedback, and iteration. You will proactively suggest improvements across the whole stack. Maintain our web application tech stack: Laravel (PHP 7), Golang, Vue.js, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, BigQuery and whatever else is required to get the job done. Undertake new and exciting projects to ensure student safety and provide visibility of activities on the Chromebook platform and others. Assist all organization departments by providing effective and easy to use systems to enhance productivity and workflows. Enhance our current remote learning tools and systems by adding new features, capabilities, and capacity. Enable better student and teacher remote learning using modern technologies and content push capabilities of educational material to devices. All other duties as assigned
