Our North area client is seeking is responsible for addressing inbound calls to the Monitoring Center, determining call urgency, and directing call to the appropriate department/ supervisor. The role is also responsible to execute a home hook up for any current device, as well as basic troubleshooting.
Job Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for addressing inbound calls to the lab, determining call urgency, and directing call to the appropriate individuals
- Determine abnormal cardiac rhythms/symptoms, take any necessary precautions, and clearly communicate information to technicians
- Aid patients and practices in troubleshooting devices
- Collect patient symptoms and additional recordings as needed
- Address questions and educate patients, practices, and sales staff
- Collect patient baseline recordings and assisting with Home Hook Ups as needed
- Possess the flexibility to adapt in a constantly changing environment and evolving procedures
- Retain information that is job specific such as safety regulations and current policies and procedures
- Maintain consistent communication with necessary individuals to aid in the smooth operation of the Monitoring Center
- Make detailed notes and entries into the appropriate patient files
- Exhibit a high sense of urgency when performing job duties
- Other Duties as assigned
REQUIRED
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One to two years of experience in a call center or customer service position preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Excellent multitasking and organization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of multi-line telephone system
- Excellent Customer Service skills when interacting with all Internal and External Clients
- Bilingual is a plus
- High attention to detail
- Must be able to handle a high volume of work in a fast paced environment
