Summary

Core responsibilities of this position will be maintaining support duties for Project Managers and Senior Project Managers. This role allows the Assistant Project Manager for growth and advancement through either Field or Project Management.

Our Client is a midsize General Contractors based South of Boston, most of their projects are surrounding Boston, is South of the City, or in Rhode Island. Ground up projects are usually outside the city where as tenant fit outs are typically projects in the city. Our Client is a well established firm that can provide employees with immense amount of growth.

Description

The Assistant Project Manager will assist the Project Management Teams in maintaining and carrying-out all administrative processes of the projects being completed. This role offers the potential to grow up through the Field or Project Management path. Job Responsibilities include but are not limited too:

  • Working directly with Project Management Team thought their dealings with clients and subcontractors to ensure project falls within the applicable scope and budget.
  • Coordinate with other departments and subcontractors to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of the project.
  • Assist Project Management Teams in meeting budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on estimating and pre-construction analysis.

Profile

A successful candidate will have well developed communication skills (both written and verbal), and be able to provide essential communication to customers as well as upper management.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.

2-5 Years experience within Construction.
