Planet Subaru offers you a unique opportunity to make the world a better place, one car sale at a time. Not just that, but in a positive and team-oriented environment. We offer extensive training and look for candidates WITHOUT any experience in car sales, so we can provide a pleasantly different and enjoyable experience for our customers.
The work is interesting, fast-paced and rewards initiative and problem solving. Income is reliable and combines hourly compensation with a generous commission and bonus structure. Income for salespeople ranges from $65,000-$100,000 (or more) per year an d we maintain a much smaller sales team compared to typical dealerships, so there's plenty of opportunity for every one. Our team typically looks at their roles as their career and we almost universally promote from within. We have barely any turnover, and the longevity of our team members says a lot about the quality of life here.
The flexible schedule is less than 50 hours per week (many fewer than the typical dealership) but does include many weekend days because those are the busiest times.
Planet is great place to work, and you don't have to take our word for it. Selected from over 20,000 nationwide, Planet was named to the Automotive News "Top 100 Best Dealerships to Work For" twice. And the Boston Globe also five times selected Planet from thousands of companies in all industries for its list of "Top Places To Work" ranking.

Our salespeople enjoy a tremendous amount of autonomy. Your primary duty is to work with people to help them find the car that best fits their needs. This includes an investigation of the customer’s needs, a product demonstration, collaborating with the sales manager along the way, and gaining commitment from the customer to buy under certain terms, either in one day or through a longer process. You will make follow-up calls and send handwritten notes to those who have already bought a car or have not yet bought a car. You will check on your deliveries to make sure they are cleaned, gassed, and ready for your customer to pick up.
