Hardware/System Engineer- Our client is a dynamic start-up founded by great engineers from top Silicon Valley companies. They are developing a novel sensing system for autonomous vehicles using incredible technology. They have asked us to identify a solid engineer to play a big part and lead the development of full-stack hardware architecture. This is a great learning and growth opportunity. Candidates should be fairly local, but even post-Covid, will not have to be in the office daily. Competitive salary and generous equity.

Required skills include: analog and digital design and fabrication; system architecture and specification; mechanics design and fabrication; system integration, modeling, simulation, characterization, verification, and validation; project and people management

Required experience and education includes: 5+ years of industry experience; solid product delivery record; start-up or small company/department background; BS in EE, CE, Physics, or other technical discipline (MS a plus)

Preferred knowledge /experience includes: sensors; LIDAR; radar; cameras; edge computing; high-speed data transfer; sensors driven by machine learning at the edge.
