About the opportunity:
The IT/Application Support Analyst provides local IT Service Desk support for the US as well as Application Support for our various systems and services. This includes providing analysis for solving technical issues, escalating & managing the tickets, performing system health checks, and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
What your day to day will look like :
Providing local IT Service Desk support for US Employees including; User provisioning, Physically setting up computers, monitors, printers and other peripherals, technical support for Windows 10 and macOS devices and technical support for Office 365 and other cloud software.
Managing physical IT assets including repairing and replacing equipment, as necessary.
Documenting all IT procedures within the office.
PCI compliance management and associated activities.
Applying technical knowledge to analyze and resolve issues within agreed SLAs.
Windows Server System Administration.
Providing Application Support as part of the Global Production Support Team.
Monitoring system/application alerts and notifications, resolving the issues where necessary or escalating them to the relevant teams.
Monitoring the performance of and identify trends associated with network and systems.
The bit about you :
Basic Network, SQL, and server knowledge.
Demonstrated ability to build and execute SQL queries and identify patterns in data.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Quick learning attitude with a passion to learn.
Experience in ITIL.
Able to efficiently communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
The ability to build good working relationships.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work well autonomously.
Have completed a tertiary qualification related to Computer Science/Information Technology or have relevant work experience
