Job Summary:
Accountable for the delivery of a project execution framework aligned to the overarching business model, enabling project portfolio management at the organizational level. Ensure all projects and major initiatives align to our organizational goals, strategy, and vision, achieving measurable return on investment and benefits realization. Responsible for daily operational tasks including creating a project framework and work breakdown structure that is self-sustaining, repeatable, and easily maintained, no matter the current program model or people in role.
Create structured governance framework to drive consistent project execution and reporting through best practice and education, leveraging various tools for basic project planning, requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, communication, change management, collaborative knowledge sharing, documentation, and reporting. Providing a program structure that is self-sustaining, repeatable, and easily maintained, no matter the current organizational model or people in current roles.
Understand and be able to articulate the organizations goals, responsibilities, mission, programs, business, and organizational model. Understanding of internal business models and operational framework, business metrics and reporting needs. Must have a passion for governance and operations, execution focused with an eye for detail with an interest in problem solving. Resourceful and creative, with a flexible and adaptable attitude, willingness to jump in, share the workload and get the job done.
Be willing to ramp up and understand the internal procurement and budget management process as it relates to project execution. Participate in and review certain project statements of work on behalf of project teams to ensure key project requirement areas are covered. Provide organisation guidance on these processes to ensure legal and financial compliance. Become the subject matter expert on internal processes, financial compliance, and execution governance. Provide support for the overarching business model, business and operational processes, systems, and tools.
Top 3 Minimum Requirements:
• 2+ years Cisco Experience
• VMware company and/or offer knowledge highly desired
• Dell company and/or offer knowledge highly desired
• 2-5 years Project Management experience in IT/Tech space
• Familiarity with Agile program management
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, PPT, Excel, Visio & OneNote)

• Adaptive SmartSheet abilities for Project Planning including managing a balanced scorecard for key programs
• Cross-culturally aware; comfort working with global teams in multiple time zones

Additional Skills Required:
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage and drive projects from inception through to successful conclusion
• Confidence with communication tools (WebEx and WebEx Teams), appearing on camera when/if needed for better collaboration across key stakeholders

• Use a balanced scorecard approach to program/project management
• Actively manage the scorecard working with multiple stakeholders
• Track tasks at the program and project level, alert immediately when programs are drifting off track
• Manage procurement, including negotiation with suppliers, creating SOWs, creating PRs and budget tracking
• Coordinate event production and logistics such as catering, security, audio/visual, room acquisition/reservations, and staging if/when necessary
• Create and deliver detailed project status reports on an ongoing, structured schedule
• Governance and compliance adherence where needed
