My client is a USA based manufacturer of high-quality PPE. Their mission is to reshore the manufacture of PPE back to the USA. The company, started in April 2020, was in response to the pandemic and is soon to begin production of respiratory protection equipment (N95 masks). They are 100% funded and have begun the process to expand. Corporate HQ is in NYC.
In anticipation of opening the largest Nitrile factory in North America the client is seeking an experienced, motivated Director US Sales with experience with Nitrile gloves who has a track-record of developing relationships with GPO, Hospitals and Distributors. Position located in NYC or can be remote.
MUST HAVE PRODUCT SALES EXPERIENCE WITH NITRILE GLOVES.
The Director US Sales will partner with the President and Executive Team in developing a vision and strategic plan to implement and guide the expansion of sales across the United States. Will include providing strategic advice and guidance to the Executive Team of developments within the industry and to ensure that the appropriate policies are developed to meet the company’s mission and objectives.
*Identify, assess and inform the President on internal and external issues that affect the organization
*Documented success in recruitment, hiring and development of sales team and establish KPI’s to monitor all sales progress
*Create and implement effective sales strategies and lead team toward achievement of corporate sales objectives.
*Provide sales management, budget control, compensation guidance.
*Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years’ senior level experience managing people and resources and be a strategic thinker with the ability to communicate key messages clearly and concisely.
*Significant experience in developing routes to market in the PPE sector, specifically with Nitrile Glove and with a proven record of success in senior level management
*Demonstrated exemplary leadership, coaching and business skills while developing and managing business relationships in the market
*Demonstrate strong contract negotiating skills
*Proactive communication skills with a collaborative and inclusive personal style. Be equally comfortable working with a small dynamic group as you are in front of a large audience
*Well organized with excellent follow up skills and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
*A very high level of commercial awareness with Nitrile business segment
*Ability to assess and develop people for growth and higher level opportunities
*An ability to travel 50% to 70%, dependent upon location and demands of the business
*Requires high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, decision-making and self-direction to accomplish multiple goals of client practices and solutions.
