MT job duties include: under supervision, specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test results in accordance with laboratory procedures; maintaining records of testing samples, analyzing specimens using approved testing procedures, and reviewing and releasing procedures; Will follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines; Will adhere to laboratory quality control policies and document quality control activities; Will identify problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting test results, correct any problems encountered and/or notify the appropriate individual, as well as document all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the laboratory’s established performance specifications; Will maintain complete records of all testing performed on-site. Employee will be assigned to one worksite on an assignment of at least 13 weeks. The worksite is unknown at this time. Applicant must have Bachelors of Science degree in a Medical Technology field. Mon-Sun: 8 or 10 hr shifts, work hours vary to include morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts. $56,576/yr.
