Human Resources Manager

A high growth technology firm in the Chicago Loop seeks an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Manager to join their team! The Human Resources Manager will lead the development of human resource strategies and practices in support of the firm’s strategic initiatives. The Human Resources Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing strengthened processes related to employment and reviews, benefits administration, and streamlining and enforcing company policies and procedures in accordance with federal and state legal regulations. This is a great opportunity to make an impact at a high growth company. The salary for this role is $90-110k, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager:

  • Collaborate and assist with implementing efficient employee relations and engagement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain trustworthy working relationships and partnerships with staff and leaders alike
  • Oversee HR related programs including learning and development, training, and benefits administration
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and counsel to leaders on matters related to talent, organizational change, labor and employee relations, engagement, and communications
  • Interface with outside counsel, and facilitate sponsorships related to immigration, green cards, and transfers
  • Timely processing and maintenance of personnel files; update and maintain HRIS
  • Utilize HR and business systems to administer programs, and analyze data and workforce trends
  • Additional projects and tasks as necessary
Job Requirements

Requirements of the Human Resources Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline preferred
  • 5+ years of HR management experience; PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP highly desired
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience and working knowledge of implementing HRIS systems, and reporting
  • Experience working with immigration law firms and employee visas a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong prioritization, time management, and problem solving skills
