Job Requirements

Retail Customer Service Responsibilities:

  • Greets both customers and coworkers, supports in a polite, pleasant manner and does their best to always successfully answer customer queries and demands.

  • Regularly uses the 5-step method when engaging with customers: Welcomes and Engages Consumer, Requests need, Describes product benefit, resolves customer need, and Thanks Customer

  • Able to understand and respond to current technologies to address consumer needs

  • Provides the best customer service with successful problem-solving

  • Requests

  • Ensure that all cash management operations are carried out in compliance with the protocol and practice

  • Full transactions correctly and effectively when involving clients

  • Adaptable and able to cross-train and work in other departments if needed

Retail Customer Service Qualifications

  • Capacity to collect 50 pounds on an occasional to regular basis

  • Ability to perform up to 100 percent of working time standing or walking around the departments.  

  • Compliance to LMI Philly rules and practices

  • Daily involvement

  • Efficient oral and written contact skills

  • Simple arithmetic and literacy skills, readable handwriting and attention to detail.

  • Capacity to function as member of a collective and to communicate successfully with others

Preferred Experience

  • Prior retail, restaurant, fast food, or hospitality experience

  • Consistent with the use of technology and POS systems when executing necessary tasks
