Sales Support Representative

SUMMARY:

Performs a variety of functions throughout the day in a team environment to support our distributor customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

· Sales order processing – enter, correct, and maintain orders from distributors and sales agents.

· Respond to telephone, chat, and email contacts in a call center environment to provide the status of purchase orders, expedite orders as needed, verify inventory availability and pricing.

· Resolve issues related to the sales order process and ensure Technical Support concerns are completed.

· Work cross-functionally areas to support customers and agents efficiently with teams including Sales, IT, Supply Chain, and Marketing.

· Upsell/Cross sell customers using promotions and order maintenance to increase order revenue and margin dollars.

ASSIGNED ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Provide support for individual customer channels (OEM, export, retail)
  • Coordinating quality issues and activities, assist in return goods filings.
  • Act as primary inside contact for sales agents and distributor partners, updating customer information and order history.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

    Education and/or experience:

  • High School diploma required. Prefer 2 years of college level courses in business, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years prior Customer Service or Inside Sales experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of MS Outlook required and MS Office preferred
  • Must be able to multi-task and work in a team environment.
  • Inside Sales experience or prior experience in Inside Sales preferred, i.e., outbound calling to existing or new customers.
  • PHYSICAL DEMAND AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    Demands vary throughout the day but include sitting in one place for a period of time, and times of walking to different areas of the company for questions and answers, lifting weights up to 20 lbs.
