Innovative Basement Authority , a Groundworks Company , is growing rapidly and seeks a proven Outside Sales Representative. We’ve been in business since 2005 serving Minneapolis, St. Paul, Fargo, Bismarck, Saint Cloud, Bismarck, Grand Forks, Eden Prairie, Anoka, Andover, Minot, and other surrounding areas. We fully train our technicians and have industry-leading products to restore our customers basement, foundation, and/or crawl space. We here at Innovative Basement Authority are dedicated to finding an Outside Sales Representative that would be a great fit for our company, and most importantly our customers!

We seek applicants with the ability to grow and expand our presence in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin.

Our Certified Field Inspectors inspect company-provided and self-generated leads and close sales in the basement waterproofing and foundation repair field. At Groundworks Companies, we provide qualified, high quality leads-appointments, so there is minimal to no cold calling required!

Job Responsibilities :

  • Conduct in-home inspections; Diagnose foundation, basement, or crawlspace issues
  • Educate the homeowner on the issues they have in their home and provide solutions for those
  • foundation, basement, or crawlspace issues
  • Estimate the repairs and provide homeowner with sell-able job proposals
  • Close sales with customers in the home
  • Clearly define sales and income goals, and commit to their execution
  • Commitment to continually improve and execute the sales process
  • Bring “can-do” attitude to all leads and opportunities
  • Represent the company in a professional manner
  • Learn and commit to accurate and timely reporting
  • Other duties as required
What is required to join our team as an Outside Sales Representative :

  • Inspects customer basements, crawl spaces and sidewalks using our proprietary methods
  • Educates customers on how products and services can improve their home's value and appearance
  • Estimate the repairs and provide homeowner with sell-able job proposals
  • Close sales with customers in the home
  • Clearly define sales and income goals, and commit to their execution
  • Provide excellent Customer Service to our customers
  • Commitment to continually improve and execute the sales process
  • Represent the company in a professional manner
  • Learn and commit to accurate and timely reporting
  • Travels within the sales territory to meet prospects
  • Builds and maintains relationships with customers
  • Maintains records of sales leads and customer accounts
  • Must be willing to work evenings and weekends

Job Requirements
  • Analyze sales trends to increase sales
  • Maintain sales area records on customer sales
  • Searching a sales representative to complement sales team
  • Drive outside sales within territory
  • Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume and potential sales
  • Lead all sales within territory
  • Develop a territory sales plan
  • Utilizing sales system to optimize sales calls
  • Complete job site survey reports for all new customer job sites and existing customer job sites
  • Mastering the sales representative position
  • Provide weekly sales updates to sales management
  • Develop and maintain sales forecasts on anticipated territory sales
  • Exceed sales goals in assigned territory
  • Coordinate sales calls and associated paper work with inside sales/sales support
  • Exerting sales effort necessary to meet sales quota
  • Achieve sales goals for assigned accounts and assigned sales area
  • Achieve and exceed territory sales goals
  • Meet or exceed sales call activity goals for new sales
  • Conduct sales presentations to customers
  • Succeed in company sponsored training classes
