Senior Project Manager
Raleigh, NC: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Sr. Project Manager for an immediate opportunity with an industry leading client. The Senior Project Manager will oversee all aspects of the project and is responsible for managing project costs, field labor, sub-contractors, with a safe, on-time, under budget, completion.
The Senior Project Manager will:
? Manage the installation of HVAC, Plumbing, and Medical Gas meeting code requirements, budget, and on time installation.
? Ability to work safely in an occupied hospital or other healthcare facility including infection control.
? Specialize in new, additions, and renovations of hospitals and other healthcare projects.
? Evaluate estimates and set up job costing system with labor, material and subcontract cost codes.
? Negotiate and prepare vendor and subcontractor purchase orders and evaluate submittals to reflect contract drawing and specifications.
? Conduct monthly reports and cost reviews to ensure project is on schedule and keep all informed throughout the project from start to finish.
? Build and maintain customer relations with general contractor, sub-contractors, vendors, and internal customers.
? Evaluate and develop field personnel including workers, foreman, and superintendent.
? Maintain a safe and secure work environment through maintaining safety meetings, incident investigations, and employee involvement.
Skills & Requirements:
? Minimum 10 yrs. verifiable Project Management experience working for a mechanical subcontractor.
? Must have experience in large ($15+ mil.) heavy commercial construction Pharmaceutical or Life Science projects.
? 4 yr. Degree in Construction Management preferred.
? Field work experience in Pharmaceutical large projects.
? Planning knowledge preferred.
