TX, USLead Superintendent
$120,000-$145,000 / YEARMy client is a large well respected, well established large building contractor who are involved in many different sectors with projects generally around the $100 -$200 million mark.
They are looking for a Lead Superintendent with experience in Food and Beverage manufacturing Builds and experience of PMing projects over $50 million to join their team based out of San Antonio TX.
Ideally, they would want somebody who is local but they would consider people with the right experience who would want to relocate.
The Role of the Lead Superintendent:
Leading Safety Culture for project.
Direct project team in accordance with project plan and Core Values
Provide daily correspondence to the Project Manager related to daily progress, performance
Coordinate pre-mobilization activities with Project Manager and Project Executive
Develop start-up schedule
Manage a team of superintendents
Establish Baseline Schedule with subcontractor input
Maintain schedule and ensure work performed is in compliance with contract and will exceed client expectations
Review 2 week look ahead schedule with Project Manager and project team
Communicate clear expectations for safety to project team
Perform safety inspections
Ensure that all quality inspections are documented and communicated to the project team
Manage subcontractor quality of work
Attend all owner meetings
Lead project turnover, mobilization and coordination meetings
Complete daily reports and maintain logs of daily activities, files and shop drawings
Manage subcontractor closeout and punch list
The Compensation package for the Lead Superintendent
The Base salary is negotiable and will pay based on experience, but they could go up to $145k for the right candidate.

Job RequirementsThe Ideal Lead Superintendent will:
Strong leadership skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented
Strong working knowledge of programs such as Primavera, Excel, Word, and MS Project
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A proven track record of organizing project team to accomplish project goals
Effective negotiation and contract management skills to represent the company with the Owner
Well-rounded base of knowledge in construction disciplines
Experience in Food/Beverage or manufacturing
large project experience ($50M+) is required
Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management or Engineering is preferred
