Sales Representative

The Sales Representative works to improve AutoMate’s market position and achieve financial growth.

This integral role identifies business opportunities, builds key customer relationships, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions. The Regional

Sales Representative focuses on three main areas:

- New Account Development,

- Account Planning

- Client Retention

Responsibilities:

New Account Development

· Prospect for new clients - Cold call and set up meetings with decision makers at prospective businesses

· Works with appropriate teams to develop proposals that address client needs, concerns, and objectives.

· Participate in pricing the solution/service.

· Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.

Account Planning

· Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.

· Present to and consult with senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.

· Using knowledge of the market and competitors, refine the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.

Client Retention

· Present new products and services to drive organic growth.

· Work with operational staff, marketing and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.

· Arrange and participate in internal and external client meetings and business reviews.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree or Commensurate experience.

· 1-2 years proven work experience. Selling prime labels and packaging a plus

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills

· Experience with print and prime label sales a plus but not required

· Knowledge of CRM Software and G Suite

· Must occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
