QIDP RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM COORDINATOR/ Residence Manager

Arc of Westchester is a leading social services agency in Westchester County, serving more than 2,000 individuals with IDD (Intellectual Development Disabilities) with a broad range of innovative and effective programs and services designed to foster independence, productivity and participation in community life. Our agency offers a wide spectrum of residential opportunities, based upon the level of support and supervision required by an individual. Options range from highly staffed homes, supervised 24 hours per day, to supportive living situations, where staff may provide assistance from 15 to 20 hours per week.

We are seeking for a QIDP Residential Program Coordinator to join our team.

Job Summary

The QIDP Residential Program Director will work under the supervision of the Clinical Team Leader and will manage operations and complete QIDP responsibilities for assigned residential programs.

Management responsibilities include:

The supervision of Assistant Manager and other DSP staff, ensuring the physical, social, and emotional needs of the people that live in the house are met and maintain a safe environment.As QIDP, will be responsible for the development, implementation and revision of residential habilitation plans, Individualized Plans of Protective Oversight (IPOP) and monthly notes for all people living in the homes. This include the oversight of the implementation of the plans, data collection and training the DSP staff on all new and revised plans.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, or related Human Services field.Master’s degree preferred.At least 2 years experience supervisory experience, with at least 1 year supervisory experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities in Residential setting.Significant knowledge of intellectual development disabilities (IDD) and the delivery of person centered, habilitation and health care services to individuals of varying ages with developmental disabilities.Strong communication skills required, both oral and writing.Ability to effectively train and supervise staff.A valid NYS driver's license
