Position Overview

Client is currently seeking a Project Manager to implements tools and methods of risk evaluation as a member of the Credit Analytics and Reporting team. Candidate should have very good Hands on Experience working on Data Side (Big Data, Hadoop, BI & Data WareHouse )

Responsibilities include:

·         Manage Big Data Projects – Manages the implementation of new data consumption capabilities to meet CAR business needs in conjunction with Business Owner, Governance, Operations, and IT teams.

·         Manage data mart/data warehouse business projects and Big Data Projects

·         Develop project plans, resource allocations, Issues/Risk logs, Status Dashboards and status updates

·         Budget Planning and Management

·         Manage business/systems analysts, testers, developers and data modelers

·         Ensures stakeholder management. Establish communication plans and organizational processes for all CAR data needs

·         Leads large, strategic, cross-disciplinary business change efforts, often among members of a project team.

·         Owns planning and execution of CAR projects

·         Manage multiple high priority projects

·         Act as CAR liaison to all other partners

·         Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends

·         Provide timely, relevant, robust analysis to support credit-related business decisions

·         Manages the coordination of the activities within the group or department

·         Must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

·         Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals

·         Develops and monitor project plans and performance

·         Experience with Agile, SDLC and other methodologies

·         Experience managing Kanban dashboards, burn down charts, create and assign tasks on user stories

Basic Requirements

·         Degree in Business Management, Information Management, Computer Science or related field with 10+ years related experience

·         10+ years of managing data related projects 

·         Solid understanding of data mart/data warehouse life cycle

·         Solid understanding of technical tasks and dependencies

·         Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills

·         Strong leadership aptitude and ability to engage others in project scope and risk management activities with Senior Management

·         Working knowledge of database, data warehouse, BI applications, data related challenges

·         At least 10+ years of data strategy/ data warehouse project management experience

·         Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)

·         Project Management and People Management experience

·         Detail oriented and excellent organization skills

·         MS Project experience

·         Manage project financials

Preferred Skills:

·         Mortgage industry experience or financial / credit analysis
