On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Senior Business Analyst - Guidewire Claim Center/Data Conversion & Migration.

Senior Business Analyst - Guidewire Claim Center/Data Conversion & Migration – Job Description

  • Coordinating and leading the project through all the aspects of the requirements phases (Risks, Actions, Follow up,)
  • Facilitate and follow a structured approach to elicit, analyze, and document requirements as user stories, standard requirements, process maps and business use cases
  • Lead Requirement sessions with large groups of stakeholders (20+), across multiple lines of business, multiple vendors and remote team members
  • Partner with Business and Technology through strong collaboration, perform analysis to help identify system impacts and define detailed requirements for technology to consume
  • Support testing, change management and other delivery pillars
  • The BA will collaborate with the Systems Analyst and Product Owner
  • The majority of the elicitation, reviews and walkthroughs will be over the phone, using webex

Senior Business Analyst - Guidewire Claim Center/Data Conversion & Migration – Mandatory Skills

  • Experience in creating and tracking to a requirement plan with estimates, timeline, requirement approach and stakeholder identification
  • Able to learn the domain, complete independent research and document analysis to on board to projects within 2 weeks
  • Can work independently and understands the role of a consultant business analysis
  • Understands the urgency and can work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work as a single BA who is assigned to one or more projects
  • Very strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Can demonstrate very strong organization skills
  • Understands how to manage requirements issues, risks and actions
  • Proactive in following up with the business or technology to ensure the requirements can be completed on time
  • Advanced to expert knowledge of business analysis, project delivery practices and standards across the project lifecycle
  • Strong team player with ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders of varying levels of seniority (from Business Lead to Executive level)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high demanding environment (requirement delivery is less than 2 months)
  • Experience in business analysis and strong requirement management: 7 years
  • Expertise in General Insurance domain (Home & Auto) to support detailed business requirements
  • Has worked with Guidewire Claim Center from a business capacity: 3 years
  • Strong skills in requirement documentation: User Stories, Process Maps and Business Use Cases: 7 years
  • Very strong facilitation and elicitation skills (via WebEx or Microsoft Teams): 7 years
  • Ability to independently draft requirements to use as preparation for elicitation sessions
  • Familiarity with Technical requirements writing

  • Previous Banking or FI experience
  • Strong creative and critical thinking
  • Has been in a lead role to deliver requirements
