We want developers that:

The ideal candidate will:
* Have strong communication skills and be able to mentor and educate others on DevOps / SRE principles and practices.
* Have the troubleshooting skills to identify and mitigate difficult and complex technical problems and the coding skills to resolve those problems permanently through engineering and automation
* Be able to work as part of a global team to achieve project and organizational goals
* Be able to create high quality software using Agile/Scrum development practices, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Groovy, etc)
* Exhibit an infrastructure / config / everything as code mindset
* Participated in Test Driven Development or Business Driven Development environment
* Have experience with Incident and Problem management processes, being accountable for resolution, root cause analysis and technology and business reporting and communication

Requirements:

At least 5+ years of experience in a software/system engineering environment with a focus in DevOps/SRE.
* Hands-on experience with Linux and Cloud technologies
* Strong CI/CD pipeline experience with Jenkins; With experience using and developing software build scripting: Groovy, Maven, Gradle etc.
* Hands on Git/Bitbucket
* Hands-on with Configuration Management (CM) tools such as Ansible, Chef and Puppet
* Strong knowledge and experience in Python, Java and Javascript, React and NodeJS
* Strong observability experience: white & black box monitoring, telemetry collection, and data analysis tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, DataDog Kafka, Splunk, etc.
* Strong server OS scripting and automation experience
* Strong experience with containers and container orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker
* Familiarity with best practices for infrastructure design for applications using Microservices, APIs, Big Data, and more
* Public/Private Cloud Experience AWS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry
