The Movidius VPU IP Architecture team is looking for a Software Architect to help lead the Software Architecture, and design of AI accelerators for products targeting client and edge products. In this position, you will join the team in Movidius, responsible for IP SW and HW architecture of the IP and integration with associated SoCs and products. Work closely with multiple internal partners as well as external OSVs/ISVs to define and drive the architecture of our next-generation products.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Architectural definition, PoCs, and architectural simulation

Documentation and writing requirements while considering the fast-changing landscape of AI accelerators, models, and use cases

Working closely with engineering teams to ensure an executable plan is developed based on the defined architecture
This role has the unique opportunity to define and shape the first generations of AI accelerators in new product categories.

Qualifications
Candidate must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 9+ years of experience or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 6+ years of experience, PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 4+ years or experience.
Candidate must possess experience in the following areas:

Software or Firmware architecture

Embedded systems
-
Linux and Windows drivers
-
Linux and Windows power and thermal management
-
Architectural definition including documentation, requirements, architectural simulations, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:

AI/deep learning
-
Compute acceleration of AI workloads on GPU, CPU, or accelerators

Deep knowledge in Computer Architecture and SW stacks

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$159,350.00-$254,890.00
