Senior Frontend Web Developer - Fintech

THE ROLE:

Do you want to make a substantial impact on the future of Hopper's travel technology? We're hiring a specialist in Frontend Web Development to join the Hopper Cloud team, who are responsible for distributing Hopper's innovative Fintech products across new platforms!

Where you fit in - you will be directly responsible for crafting, implementing, and deploying our web frontend micro framework to our network of implementation partners.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Contribute to the software design and development of a brand new web framework for Hopper
  • Build innovative consumer experiences, setting standards for code and performance
  • Build delightful user experiences on our web platform
  • Use and contribute to a modern web micro-frontend platform
  • Collaborate with a diverse group of people, giving and receiving feedback for growth
  • Execute on big opportunities, helping Hopper rise to the top of the travel industry

AN IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:

  • Experience growing in frontend development environments
  • Experience leading web frontend engineering projects with a passion for building engaging user experiences
  • Willingness to provide mentoring to peers in order to grow a stronger team
  • Thrived in PWA development using modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Experience in or ability to learn typesafe web development in TypeScript
  • Excelled in multi-functional teams, working fluidly with Product Managers, Data Scientists, Software Developers, and other highly skilled specialists
  • A passionate focus on quality, writing testable code that performs well for our consumers
  • Ability to bring leading industry techniques and technologies to the table and a desire to help us continuously improve
