We are looking for a Manager Data Engineering, Location (f/m/d) to join our growing Location tribe! Our Location Platform makes the world's addresses and places discoverable in hyper 3D accuracy. We build solutions that can make it seamless to set your delivery location, find a nearby restaurant, a place to pick-up your groceries, and also enable our riders to deliver items to your doorstep fast and efficiently.

Your mission:

• Lead and guide the career development of a team of data and machine learning engineers.

• Drive the cohesion, the growth, and the delivery of the Data Engineering team of Location Tribe

• Lead the development and maintenance of efficient data layers for our data analysts, data scientists inside and outside Location.

• Collaborate with our software engineers tribes to leverage on data for build and run global models with strong focus on quality and scalability

• Champion data engineering best practices and design principles in our engineering teams

• Work closely with the product owner to define the data and models needed to enable our location based services and models.

Your heroic skills:

• You have experience leading data engineering teams and delivering measurable impact on data availability, data quality and data governance

• You can create processes to make sure the team enters a virtuous cycle of improvements

• You can lead strategic and tactical planning to balance priorities of the business, internal clients, and the team backlogs

• You have an excellent of Big Data solutions, data warehousing, data lakes, and data marts

• You are an expert user of cloud technologies (GCP/AWS)

• You have good and versatile communication and presentation skills

• You have strong analytical and problem solving skills

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR or ISO 27001

• Mapping frameworks
