MITRE’s Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Portfolio seeks seeking an experienced engineer to join our team.  As an experienced space system engineer, you will apply engineering principles and expertise to bring technical solutions to bear on the government’s toughest challenges in the acquisition of space capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or similar field and with at least six years of experience in one or more of the following areas: space sensors, satellite communications, space acquisition
• Analytical, decision-making, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of advanced threat methodologies
• Ability to clearly document and present ideas and findings

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in engineering or similar field and with at least 10 years of experience
• Experience in satellite ground segment development
• Experience in satellite communications architectures and/or network modeling
• Experience in Defensive Cyber development
