As a Test Automation Engineer at TOPIC Embedded Systems, you’ll be part of a team working on testing assignments in the cluster Cure & Care, Imaging & Controls, Mobility & Transport, Infrastructure & Logistics and Research. We carry out some of these projects in-house, but most projects take place on-site with our leading clients.

Activities you will be involved in, include;

• Setting up and maintaining the test framework;
• Contribute to the test architecture, strategy and test specification;
• Translating strategy into technical solutions;
• Automate system level test cases and write test scenarios of test cases;
• Evaluation and implementation of new test tooling.

As a Test Automation Engineer:

• You have at least 2 years of work experience in Test automation;
• You are experienced in product related and technical software testing and in an end-to-end test automation environment;
• You have experience in: behaviour-driven development, keyword driven testing, data driven testing, model based testing and property based testing;
• Your skills in technologies:
  • Must have: Python, REST
  • Nice to have: Robot, C#, typescript, JavaScript, Java, BATCH, Postmen
  • Nice to have: Cucumber, Gherkin, Mockito;
• You have knowledge of API testing (Rest, Soap, Postman) & GUI testing;
• You have experience in:
  • Test design technics;
  • Higher level testing (system, integration, component testing);
  • Test case generation;
  • Risk based testing;
• You have scripting experience and knowledge of Domain specific language for testing;
• You are preferably experienced in testing for embedded products (C, TCL).
