Software Engineering – Java Developer (with Python, Linux and Oracle/SQL DB exp)

Role Expectations:-
* Provide the required hands-on software development, cross-functional coordination, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes.
* Work closely with software engineers, QA, product managers and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle (build, test and release on time).
* Strong Problem solver and come up with new ideas.
* Encryption and Key management experince (DSM and HSM) is must.
* Always ready to learn new technologies.
* Lead several technical programs for the initiative, ensuring success metrics are informing future efforts, and quickly fine-tuning the program as needed.

Required Qualifications:
* 7+ years of development experience.
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
* Strong verbal/written communication skills
* Technical background preferred in:
+ Java
+ Python and Micro Service development
+ Sound knowledge of Linux
+ Web Scalability – Highly available architectures – load balancing, scale out
+ Database – SQL or Oracle
+ Experience working on NoSQL Databases such as Cassandra, HBase, DynamoDB , and Elastic Search
+ Hands on experience with leveraging CI/CD to rapidly build & test application code
+ Expertise in Data Governance and Data Quality
+ Cyber security fundamentals and working knowledge

This role forms part of the CTC Group. This is an opportunity to join JP Morgan’s Encryption and Key Management development team for building products that will accelerate our journey to encryption space and Public Cloud. Our team is responsible for making Encryption of Data at Rest as well key management services available within the bank, leveraging native services from multiple cloud service providers to deploy scalable, secure and resilient products.
The department is currently seeking a strong software engineer. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the delivery of strategic technology program. You must be able to make a significant and effective contribution to the development and implementation of strategy and policy and therefore must possess a detailed knowledge of technology architecture principles and software development practices and tools, including direct experience of working within an agile software engineering organization.
