The data sources must be connected and monitored, the API must process all requests reliably, the forecasts must be calculated accurately and quickly, the machine learning models have to be fed correctly, the data science algorithms need to be implemented properly – this and other software engineering challenges await you every day.

Your Mission

  • Self-determined work in the development team
  • Interface between data science and product development
  • Development areas include in particular the development and improvement of algorithms, system integration (third-party systems and internal systems) and API development, all for the core of the Synfioo solution
  • Conception and implementation of core features
  • Decision making in questions of architecture and technology
  • General product improvements
  • Data analysis, preparation and integration of various data sources

Your Profile

  • Several years of experience in programming, in particular sound knowledge and experience are necessary
    • in Python
    • in Java (or other object-oriented programming languages),
    • in agile software development,
    • the development of complex software systems
  • Successfully completed university studies in software engineering or computer science (or comparable) welcomed
  • Desirable and helpful (but not necessary) are experience with
    • Cloud development,
    • Data engineering,
    • Amazon Web Services (AWS),
    • the Atlassian Toolchain,
    • Logistics and digital solutions
  • Good language skills in English (working language)
