QA Lead for Big Data/Machine Learning Application

SiteZeus is a fast-growing startup disrupting the way growing companies select new locations with Predictive Analytics based on big data and machine learning. We are seeking the best & brightest engineers to join our Product Development team to enhance our award-winning product suite.

Position Responsibilities

• Ensure that we have defined and implemented automated Acceptance and Regression Tests
• Perform Exploratory Testing manually
• Oversee the activity of other QA Team members to ensure that we have appropriate test coverage
• Ensure that we have appropriate Test Plans and Test Cases for testing new features
• Participate in review of new feature designs
• Provide a risk assessment during Go/No-Go Meetings to determine if a Build is ready to release
• Regularly participate in Agile ceremonies including daily scrum, refinement, sprint planning and retrospectives
• Make suggestions for process improvements consistent toward continual process improvement
• Work with support to verify production issues and provide necessary development and customer support

Skills & Requirements

• Must have a strong desire to provide the best possible user experience to delight customers
• Must have performed a significant role in leading manual testing of successful web applications
• Must have performed implemented automated testing for web applications
• Must be passionate about continually learning new technologies
• Must be able to take ownership of ensuring that we have fully tested new releases
• Must have ability to perform SQL queries against the database
• Must be able to work collaboratively as part of an Agile Scrum Product Team
• Must have a desire to participate in continually improving product development efforts
• Experience with geospatial data and/or machine learning is a big plus

Technology Stack

• Our application is currently a SPA application using Google Maps, Geospatial data, ASP.NET MVC with C#, HTML5, CSS3, Typescript, Knockout, D3, OData, SQL Server, and R Server
• Our UI test automation is implemented using Python and WebDriver
• We use Azure DevOps to manage our sprints and work items, and we use Git for version control
• Our application is hosted on Microsoft Azure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $51,163.00 – $127,447.00 per year
