OUR TEAM WANTS YOU
We are Thinksurance – one of the leading German InsurTechs on our way to becoming an international player. We are orchestrating our digital platform development with Go/Node.js (Express.js, NestJS) based on microservices architecture on AWS cloud. We keep our lovely data in MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis as key-value storage. Our front-ends are built as micro-frontends using TypeScript, React, and Carbon design systems. We remain open to new technologies and try to improve our DevOps workflows by automating our infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and our applications deploy and operation using GitLab CI/CD.We are seeking an experienced, open-minded, and well-organized Lead Go Developer to join our agile Tech team.
AT THINKSURANCE NO TWO DAYS ARE THE SAME! YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
- Design and develop business logic and backend services for full-scale applications
- Write scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code for our online comparison calculators and internal tools
- Develop software architecture further, improve performance and caching
- Support, maintain and optimize our development and production system environments including the continuous delivery pipeline
- Translate software requirements into stable, working, high performance software
- Take very high product responsibility and shape the IT agenda significantly
- Mentor, support and guide less experienced colleagues
- Work closely with our CTO and Head of Engineering
WHAT DEFINES YOU
What you bring to the party:- Strong knowledge of Golang (4+ years professional experience)
- Experience with SQL (e.g. MySQL, Postgresql) and NoSQL (e.g. Redis)
- Experience with Microservice architecture, Docker, version control (git) and clean code
- Profound Knowledge in AWS, Kubernetes, DDD & SOLID principles; CI/CD, Domain-oriented microservice architecture
- Degree in Computer Science, Informatics or a comparable subject
- Experience in agile methodologies
- Curious and self-researching about new technologies
