- Build next generation infotainment systems with us based on Android Automotive
- Grasp an overview of a huge system like Android OS
- Solve problems and dive deeply into the AOSP code base
- Design and implement new concepts in form of applications or services
- Communicate promptly with stakeholders when blocked
You have:
- A degree in computer science, a comparable qualification, or equivalent experience
- Extensive knowledge of at least one programming language (C++, C, Java, Kotlin)
- Over 3 years of experience developing for Linux OS and customizing it
- Minimal familiarity developing for Android using Android SDK and NDK
- Expert knowledge of distributed Version Control Systems such as Git
- Proficiency in collaborative web-based Code Review systems (preferably Gerrit)
- Understanding of C++ Build Systems (Make/CMake)
- An excellent standard of written and spoken English
You might also have:
- Good knowledge of written and spoken German
- Experience with AOSP development (Android HAL, System Services, SDK Addons)
- Experience with Linux Kernel
- Ability to use at least one scripting language (Bash/Python)
- Working knowledge of containerization software (lxc, docker)
