Senior C++/Java Developer for Android Platform (m/w/d) - Munich

€65,000-€80,000 / YEAR

You will:

  • Build next generation infotainment systems with us based on Android Automotive
  • Grasp an overview of a huge system like Android OS
  • Solve problems and dive deeply into the AOSP code base
  • Design and implement new concepts in form of applications or services
  • Communicate promptly with stakeholders when blocked

You have:

  • A degree in computer science, a comparable qualification, or equivalent experience
  • Extensive knowledge of at least one programming language (C++, C, Java, Kotlin)
  • Over 3 years of experience developing for Linux OS and customizing it
  • Minimal familiarity developing for Android using Android SDK and NDK
  • Expert knowledge of distributed Version Control Systems such as Git
  • Proficiency in collaborative web-based Code Review systems (preferably Gerrit)
  • Understanding of C++ Build Systems (Make/CMake)
  • An excellent standard of written and spoken English

You might also have:

  • Good knowledge of written and spoken German
  • Experience with AOSP development (Android HAL, System Services, SDK Addons)
  • Experience with Linux Kernel
  • Ability to use at least one scripting language (Bash/Python)
  • Working knowledge of containerization software (lxc, docker)
