Senior Golang Backend Engineer - OpsPortal (f/m/d)

We are looking for a Senior Golang Software Engineer (f/m/d) to join our Developer Platform team and reinvent on-demand delivery with us. If you're a creative problem solver who is eager to deliver solutions and hungry for a new adventure, an international workplace is waiting for you in the heart of Berlin!

Your mission:

As a result of our fast growth and acquisitions, Delivery Hero operates multiple consumer-facing platforms and core services that require their own backoffices. Those almost one hundred back-offices are challenging to manage both from a user and governance perspective. To solve that, we introduced the Ops Portal, a pluggable UI system that centralizes them in just one place and offers supportive capabilities such as authentication, access management, security, tracking, and bug reporting. For our users, we offer a single touchpoint and streamlined access. For developers, we help them focus on business logic and their customers. You will be responsible for implementing features and services for our global platform.


Your heroic skills:

  • You are an experienced developer with strong Golang skills

  • You have at least 5 year experience in building distributed cloud-native microservices used by thousands of users

  • You understand how to create an efficient, reliable, scalable, and maintainable software architecture.

  • You write clean, test-driven code and can teach others to do so.

  • You are comfortable with DevOps/SRE practices and are familiar with popular observability tooling

  • You have full professional English proficiency and good communication skills.
